KD Flyfishing Tours is a family business consisting of father and son with an aim to share our experience, joy and extensive knowledge from our fishing travels, with our customers. This lovely sport called fishing is so much more than catching a fish. It is about the people you meet, the different cultures, the nature and wildlife. It is a privilege to fish in many places and it is extremely important that with so little time on our hands; that the trip is a memorable experience for all the right reasons. And here we will do our utmost to see that outcome.

Our travels over the past 40 years have taken us fishing around the UK and Norway, to the far flung regions of Argentina and Canada where we have fished for trout, salmon and exotic fish such as dorado.

We are a proud member of “reisegarantifondet” in Norway – an important factor in deciding who to travel with is that by EU law, anyone offering a holiday where travel, lodging and activities such as fishing are included, must be a member. A role we take seriously.

As the countries we promote are places we know from many years of travelling there; we can assist with domestic flights, hotels and transport to and from airports should you require that. We would also be more than happy to assist with sight-seeing, what to see depending on where you may be the best restaurants depending on your liking. Your happy and successful trip will be our delight.Our goal is not to be the biggest fishing operator, but the best and right operator for you.

Our services to you are always free with no hidden fees or additional costs. Should you decide to book directly with a lodge or ourselves, the price will always be the same. We make our money from the lodge, not you.

When booking with us, our goal is that you should not have to worry about a thing. Through our private and work life, we have both been travelling extensively and understand that things don’t always go to plan whether that be a delayed flight, to a rod breaking. Be that from the recommended time to check in, when you will be picked up, how long it typically takes to get from A to B and not just what Google maps tells you, to what clothes to take, what rods to bring, what flies to use, when and who to tip – we plan to cover all the information you need for the trip we will plan together for you.

From the single person travelling or to a group of 10, we will give you the same attention.
